The circulation of new hantaviral genotype Amur (AMRV) and four new genovariants of well-known hantaviruses — Far East (FE) of Hantaan, Vladivostok (VDV) of Seoul, Shkotovo (SHK) of Puumala and Gorodechnoe (GD) of Khabarovsk are detected in the Maritime Territory of Russia. It was established that the natural host for new hantavirus AMRV was A.peninsulae. The hosts for hantaviruses genovariants FE, VDV, SHK and GD were A.agrarius, R.
orvegicus, C.rufocanus and M.fortis. The main sources of hantavirus infection in the Primorye region, evaluated on the basis of genomic similarity of hantaviruses isolated from blood of HFRS patients and rodents were A.peninsulae A.agrarius and R.
orvegicus.
