The study of effectiveness of application of bioactive substance of salmon soft roe DNA in experimental listeriosis infection

Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, Pacific University of Economics, Vladivostok, Russia

The influence of salmon soft roe DNA on the survival rate of experimental animals and L.monocytogenes occurrence in their organs (liver, spleen) was evaluated in experimental listeriosis without application of antimicrobial drugs. Maximal percent of animal survival rate was detected after the DNA subcutaneous injections (dose 10 mg/kg) in one hour and two days after the agent inoculation. The DNA injections according to the scheme accelerated the elimination of experimental infection from mouse liver and spleen (dose 1LD50 of L.monocytogenes). The carried out experimental study confirmed indirectly the importance of T-system immunity factors in Listeria elimination from macroorganism and showed prospects of salmon soft roe DNA application as immunocorrector for listeriosis treatmentnZh.
