Study of the spread and amount of Hyalomma marginatum in the Republic of Dagestan

The amount and spread of ticks H.marginatum in the plain and foothill regions of the Republic of Dagestan are shown. The results of the study of the spread of Ixodes tick of the species H. marginatum are indicative of the relatively uniform spread of this species in the plain regions of the Republic of Dagestan. In the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains the amount of these ticks noticeably diminishes.
