Information on the influence of the freshet in June 2002 on the natural focality factors of Crimean hemorrhagic fever (CHF) is presented. High humidity and the flooding of large areas were found to lead to a drop in the number of ticks Hyalomma marginatus, as well as the species ensuring their feeding at the pre-imago development phases. At the same time the activity of the flooded areas of the natural focus of CHF was supposed to decrease.
