On the basis of the specific features of the ecology of ticks Hyalomma marginatum, the main vector of Crimean hemorrhagic fever (CHF) virus, and the relationships between the ticks and the virus, grounds for the proposition on the autoregulation of the amount of ticks on the micropopulation level and the mechanism of the virus existence based on the feedback principle are given and the conclusion is made on the necessity of further studies of the problem of CHF enzootic on the population level.
