The new method for the determination of the lipase activity of purified preparations of hemolysins and live V.cholerae cell has been developed. On the basis of the determination of triacylglycerollipase (lipase) activity the test for the differentiation of hemolytic and nonhemolytic V.cholerae has been proposed.
