The results of the sociological questioning carried out in the Tomponsky ulus are presented. 15 detailed interviews, including questions of the medical character in co
ection with the spread of hepatitis A, were taken from the representatives of different strata of the population. Certain tendencies in the public conscience were established. Positive general socio-psychological climate among the population was noted, no wish for forced migration and no tendencies towards the formation of conflicts between different persons or groups due to the unjust distribution of material assistance among the population were found. Timely sanitary, hygienic and antiepidemic measures carried out in the village of Khandyga prevented the outbreak of hepatitis A and the development of negative socio-medical consequences.
