Modern state of the epizootologo-epidemiological situation in the Lensk Ulus

The work deals with the evaluation and prognostication of the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the Lensk Ulus of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Morbidity dynamics in 14 nosological forms of natural focal infections for the last 10 years is presented. The main attention is paid to morbidity in tick-borne encephalitis, haemorrhagic fever with the renal syndrome, arbovirus infections, rabies, leptospiral infections, tularemia, anthrax, brucellosis, pseudotuberculosis and enteric yersiniosis. Short information on cases of cholera, malaria, diphyllobothriasis and trichinelliasis is presented. Special attention is paid to the state of the situation in the region arising as a consequence of the development of the territories, to the importance of epizootologo-epidemiological monitoring and to the prevention of quarantine infections.
