Yakutsk State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Center
The results of the work of the Department of Hygiene of Children and Adolescents at the period of spring high-flood and the liquidation of its consequences in 2001 are summarized. Under the supervision of the Department evacuation stations were opened on the basis of educational institutions. All opened stations were provided with all necessary equipment and supplies in accordance with sanitary, hygienic and antiepidemic requirements. In the inundation zone the work of 4 children’s institutions was temporarily stopped by the specialists of the Department. The objects of risk and evacuation stations were placed under special sanitary control. During this period 71 institutions for school and pre-school children were surveyed, and in 37 of these institutions laboratory control was carried out. nZh. Mikrobiol.
